Zoran Pavlović

Acting Assistant Minister

He was born in 1970 in Loznica. He graduated from the Military Academy of the Land Forces for VSS, majoring in Engineering, Engineering Officer. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Civil Defence, University of Belgrade, earning the professional title of Professor of Civil Defence, and specialist studies at the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, earning the professional title of Crisis Management Specialist.

From 1990 to 2018, he worked as a professional military staff - an officer in the Serbian Armed Forces. From 1990 to 2014, he performed command and management duties in the units of the Air Force and Air Defence (AF&AD) of the Serbian Armed Forces. From 2014 to 2018, he performed a managerial position in the General Staff of the Serbian Army. In the period from 2018 to 2019, he performed the role of the CEO of the company Aerodromi Srbije d.o.o. Belgrade. From 2019 to November 2020, he was at the position of Acting Assistant Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure – Inspection Department, and since 3 December 2020 he performs the role of Acting Assistant Minister of Mining and Energy – Inspection Department. He was a leader and participated in the work of several professional, project management and other teams.

During the war in 1999, pursuant to the Decree of the President, he was awarded for "exemplary, brave, decisive and exceptional performance of tasks in the fields of defence and security of the homeland", and in 2016, by the Decree of the President, he was awarded "for exceptional merits and achieved results in the fields of defence and security of the Republic of Serbia". He is the owner of several decorations, including a Medal for Zealous Service. While working in the Serbian Armed Forces, he was repeatedly awarded by the Minister of Defence and other levels of leadership and command for the achieved results in his work, and he was extraordinarily promoted to a higher rank.
