"The government’s priority is to find the most optimal solution in order to avoid the negative consequences of the U.S. sanctions on NIS JSC for citizens and the economy. It is important to maintain good relations with all partners and to adhere to a responsible and rational approach in resolving the newly emerged situation. We are counting on the support of all oil companies operating in the country to ensure the stability of supply during the transitional period and provide additional support in case of potential market challenges," said Đedović Handanović.
The meeting highlighted the importance of the continuous and uninterrupted operation of the oil refinery in Pančevo for supply security and all market participants. Among other things, companies presented reports on current operations and plans for 2025, including import and storage capacities, and agreed upon a regular reporting schedule on the market situation and fuel stocks.
